Valentine's Day and 100th Day Celebration

Hello, families!

Last week, we celebrated Valentine's Day by highlighting friendship and appreciation of each other. Ms. Castillo and I hosted a waffle party during work time. We also celebrated the 100th day of school. We are 100 days smarter!!! The children connected this to our calendar work and math activities with the ten frame. They enjoyed counting 10 10's to make their 100 snack. We also created a trail mix of our extra treats to share with the whole school. The kindergarteners hosted this celebration.

We are also very thankful for our parent and student volunteers that continue to support us. We love that you are able to come visit and help us! Our next celebration is... Mardi Gras!!! Let the good times roll!

See you at school!

Last week, we went to Asia!

I love how the children are taking in the information. =) Look at those faces!

Haylie and Carlos created their Valentine envelopes with Jessica's help.

Vivian and Cindy helped, too.
